How to take Screenshot on windows?

1: Search for the print screen button on the keyboard (refer to the image)-----------------👆👆👆👆

Now press the PrtSc  button to take the screenshot of your laptop or computer screen.

This screenshot is now saved on the clipboard.

2:The alternative to above method is- press Alt+PrtSc button (If you button is dual function button then press Fn+Alt+PrtSc).

3:To capture a certain portion of the screen use the combination - Windows+Shift+S.

After this open any of your favourite word or image processing softwares like - MS-word or paint and paste it there using ctrl+v or paste option and after this save the image in the desired folder.

 

Using snipping tool for taking Screenshot or capturing the screen:👇👇

-> Using a snipping tool is much easier and useful.But , this function is only available on windows 8 and above. 

-> Go to search bar and type snipping tool.

After this open this tool and minimize it , and open the screen page which you want to capture .

To use the Snipping Tool:

•     Search for snipping tool on the search box from start menu. Select Snipping Tool from the results.

•    Select the new button.After this a cursor will appear to select the area which you want to screenshot.

•     We can use snipping tool to screenshot the drop-down-menus. Hold Ctrl+PrtScn to screenshot the menu. For Windows 7, press the ESC button before opening the menu you want to grab.

•     There are options like pen and highlighter in the snipping tool so that you can mark something or even write something.

 How to take Screenshot on Mac ?

Taking Screenshot on Mac OS is also very simple , Wondering how?😕 Don't worry we are here to help you out ; for this you just have to follow the steps below:-

  

• For capturing the whole screen,hold cmd+shift+3.
  

• For capturing a specified part of the screen,Press the (cmd+shift+4).The cursor will now turn into a cross ,now by dragging into the area you can capture it.
  

• For capturing any specified window-area or dock area or menu-bar, you have to press cmd+shift+4 and soon after this, hit the Spacebar. Here, croshair turns into a small camera ;just highlight the area you want screenshot.
  

• Want to screenshot the touch-bar, then do so by pressing cmd+shift+6
